WS Management is a family-owned business founded more than 30 years ago with a commitment to excellence. Our team's extensive hospitality experience is reflected in our personalized attention for each of our new projects and existing properties.

James Woo

Managing Principal

As one of the founding members of the company, James brings 24 years of hospitality industry experience to WS Management.  He began his hospitality career as the General Manager of a select-service hotel.  He transitioned to acquisitions and ground-up construction development of hotels.

He led the company through the challenges during Great Financial Crisis of 2008 by implementing programs to increase operational efficiencies while preserving quality of service. The financial success of this strategy enabled the company to set the foundation for future growth.  The company now has over 15 hotels in management and development.

 He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley.  When he is not working, he enjoys spending time with his family.  His hobbies include skiing, golfing and travelling. 

Sean Woo

Managing Principal

Sean Woo is a founding member of WS Management and is responsible for the company’s financial, accounting and risk management activities.

Sean has spent 30 years in the hospitality industry, starting his career in his family’s successful motel business. At WS Management, he specializes in long-term strategies through identifying, negotiating and financing real estate acquisitions.

Sean earned degrees in political science and international economics from UCLA and the University of Cambridge.

Janet Fioriti

Vice President

Janet Fioriti is an industry veteran with more than 25 years in the hospitality industry. Prior to joining WS Management, Janet worked for Marriott International, IHG and several franchise partners specializing in Hilton, Marriott and Hyatt branded hotels. Janet’s executive career has included positions as National Director of Revenue Growth Services, Director of Revenue Impact and as Vice President of Sales and Marketing.

Janet is responsible for the operating performance, asset preservation, quality and service excellence, revenue management and top-line sales performance for each asset in the portfolio. She is keenly focused on building a culture of entrepreneurial spirit, outrageous hospitality and employee engagement and care.

Janet received her BS in Business Administration from the University of Dayton, her MS in Executive Leadership from the University of San Diego and her Certificate in Asset Management and Hotel Real Estate Investment from Cornell University.
